Bollywood Cardio:

Hailing from the dream city Mumbai which is also home to Bollywood, this
energetic, charismatic & fun dance instructor-actor-percussionist, Amit
Sharma, has spread Indian dance music and moves across the length & breadth
of India and USA.

Amit is fluent in dance forms as varied as Latin (salsa), Bhangra, and
Bollywood. He however enjoys applying these to choreograph Bollywood cardio
& has taught Bollywood at Mountain View Recreation Center and has been in
highlighted on many stages for his stellar presence on stage in acting,
movies, and playing tablas all around the World.

Manpreet has performed at World Salsa Congress and won top awards for
Bollywood performances and has choreographed for Global Indian Awards and
is currently working on a global vision for Rang De Bollywood. Both Amit
and Manpreet will present you a combination of cardio and choreography that
will leave you feeling loved, lighter, and delighted in excitement every
week.

Venue: All over the world

Since 1982, April 29th has been the World Dance Day.  This year is no exception.  We are inviting all interested parties to get involved in this international Day.  All persons active in the wider field of dance: teachers, choreographers, group leaders, journalists, researchers, associations, suppliers, organizations, etc., are invited to take an active part on the Day.

 

To be a part of AHSA’s UNESCO CID World Dance Day

1. At a convenient time, between now and April 29, 2016, do some form of dance activities to bring awareness to a new group of people

   1. Not necessarily at a dance studio.

   2. In fact, at odd places and to a group of non/new dancers.

   3. Do something different, something creative; the more novel the better!

2. Take a short video clip of a few minutes (4 minutes maximum)

   1. In or at the end of the video, do something to identify that it is for World Dance Day 2016, such as yelling out “Happy World Dance Day 2016”, or something similar (forming or holding a sign).

3. Send the video to us at

no later than April 30, 2016, 9:00pm.

4. Identify, separately, by stating

   1. Name of your organization

   2. Location of the activity (eg. name of a park, name of city, name of country)

   3. The type of dance activity

This information will get into a final integrated video so that everyone gets due credits or acknowledgments.

5. By the deadline, we will incorporate all videos into a World Dance Day 2016 video and post it on Youtube and archive it in UNESCO CID library so that all contributors now are each a proud participant of this special UNESCO CID event!!!

4月29日，為聯合國教科文組織國際舞蹈理事會(UNESCO C/O CID)於1982年倡議的官方世界舞蹈日(World Dance Day)。每年CID邀請數以百萬計活躍在舞蹈界或更廣泛領域的所有朋友：教師、舞蹈編導、集團領導、記者、作家、研究人員、協會、基金會、商業組織、企業…等，在世界各地一同慶祝！

 

2016年4月29日，國際舞蹈理事會舊金山(CID San Francisco)與美國非營利組織AHSA邀請所有喜愛舞蹈的朋友一同攜手，打造《舞動世界》活動！

 

1.時間：4月1日起至4月30日止。

 

2.方式：任何型式、任何舞蹈、任何組織、學校、企業、協會，以自由方式表現世界舞蹈日。呈現地點不一定在舞蹈教室、舞池，可以在街道、公園、購物廣場或任何地方，將舞蹈展現給不認識的人、新的朋友，主要目的是讓更多人進入舞蹈的世界！

關於世界舞蹈日(聯合國教科文組織國際舞蹈理事會(UNESCO c/o CID提供)

 

自1982年以來，每年4月29日為聯合國教科文組織國際舞蹈理事會(UNESCO C/O CID)倡議的世界舞蹈日(World Dance Day)，數以百萬計的舞者們將在世界各地一同慶祝！

 

下面的指南作為活躍於舞蹈或更廣泛領域的個人或組織可採取的活動邀請清單：

老師(teachers)、編舞(choreographers)、集團領導(group leaders)、記者(journalists)、研究人員(researchers)、協會(associations)、供應商(suppliers)、組織(organizations)等。

 

目的：

世界舞蹈日活動主要目的是以正向能量吸引更多、更廣大的公眾關注舞蹈藝術。著重重點在於發展新的舞蹈人群，尤其關注於這一年中不積極參與舞蹈活動者。

 

活動：

世界舞蹈日活動可以安排特殊的演出、開一門與舞蹈相關的課、公開排練、公開講座、展覽、在報紙或雜誌上發表文章、舉辦舞蹈晚會、廣播和電視節目受訪、街頭表演、遊行、櫥窗裝飾等。

 

主辦單位：

世界舞蹈日活動可由專業舞蹈團、業餘團體、學校、協會或其他任何活躍於舞蹈的組織、機構主/協辦。活動最好以聯合舉辦方式進行，非單一的舞蹈機構、某地區的政府機構、一所公立學校、一座城市、單一企業、單一工會組織。

 

內容：

主辦單位有充分的自由來定義活動內容。

請確認內容包函有舞蹈藝術、舞蹈歷史、對社會的重要性、普遍性等一般信息。可以在活動節目中加上簡短的談話，也可以寫成文字，分發給在場的來賓。通過添加不同維度的呈現方式，譬如：閱讀一則與舞蹈相關、突出性的消息、一首詩、著名作家的文字，讓舞蹈日的活動與其他每一天固定活動方式不同。

 

協調：

為了達到最大的成功，請儘早開始做足各項準備。

組織這最好為區域或國家中心的領導位置者，並公佈舞蹈日的活動計劃列表。

活動最好是免費或是以邀請方式，邀請不常參加舞蹈活動的大眾。

 

位置：

世界舞蹈日活動最好選擇在“新”的地方，如街道、公園、廣場、商店、工廠、農村、迪斯科舞廳、學校、體育場館等。

藉由在原來環境中的不同變化設計，強調這是一個致力於舞蹈的全球舞者之家的活動。

 

聯合國教科文組織(UNESCO)國際舞蹈理事會(CID)是主體龐大，組織世界所有國家、所有形式舞蹈的正式聯盟組織。國際舞蹈理事會於1973年成立於法國巴黎聯合國教科文組織總部，受到世界各國家、地方政府、國際組織及正式機構認可，全球CID170多個國家的成員都是最為突出優秀的聯合國、各種組織、協會、學校、企業及傑出個人。
