Gala concert dedicated to the International Dance Day
On the eve of International Dance Day, the Centre of Indian Classical Dance under the direction of Akmaral Kaynazarova, a member of the International Dance Council of UNESCO invites everyone to a concert to be held on April 25, 2012 in the Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic in Almaty (crossroad Kaldayakov 35, Tole bi). The event is supported by the UNESCO Cluster Office in Almaty, the Embassy of India in Kazakhstan and Zhambyl Kazakh State Philharmonic.
April, 29 was proclaimed by UNESCO as an International Dance Day. This date is intended to unite all fans of dance trends, become an occasion to overcome the political and ethno-cultural conflicts and unite people in the name of friendship and peace, allowing them to speak the universal language - the language of dance.
Thanks to the fruitful work of the Centre of Indian Classical Dance, Almaty-Kazakhstan, Indian dance has found its place in a wide range of arts, presented today in Kazakhstan.
