1) FLUX School : On June 21st 2014, FLUX Laboratory will present the FLUX School’s show, directed by Cisco Aznar, on the ADC stage during the Music Fest. This is the achievement of a social project FLUX Laboratory is working on since January. FLUX School offers an artistic and pluridisciplinary training around urban art, for young people between 16 and 25 facing social difficulties. This pilote project is lead by artists-teachers and allows young people to develop their talent, creativity and technique. In new and shared dynamics, each finds confidence, trust and enthusiasm to undertake !
Please find enclosed a dossier (French) about this project with some update : the last workshop will last from May 12th to June 20st and is dedicated to the creation of a full dance piece (set, music, dance) directed by Cisco Aznar : http://www.ciscoaznar.ch/ and which will be presented on June 21st.
2) “The Bitter End of Rosemary” by and with Dada Masilo : FLUX Laboratory invites Dada Masilo, a prominent South African figure in contemporary dance, in Geneva, alongside the “Here Africa” project (Contemporary Africa through the Eyes of its Artists). The choreographer will give for the first time in Switzerland two representations of an intimate and committed solo : “The Bitter End of Rosemary” on June 27st and 28st at 7 pm in Salle des Eaux-Vives at the ADC Geneva.
