NEHMAT SPEECH FOR WORLD DANCE DAY
Good evening ladies and gentlemen, I would like to invite you for the world dance day celebration on behalf of NKD AND ASSOCIATES (Creative and expressive arts ensemble), Dance and Somatic wellness centre, official Institutional member of CID (INTERNATIONAL DANCE COUNCIL), UNESCO and A very warm welcome to all the young participants for the world Dance day competition today at Tagore. You all are stars and when you come onto the stage perform your best. This is a very healthy competition to promote the values of United Nations of dance and inculcate dance into daily life and practice of young children in order to support their overall wellbeing and facilitate various stages of development.
World Dance Day is celebrated every year on 29th April; this was established by CID, INTERNATIONAL DANCE COUNCIL IN 1982, and it aims at attracting attention to the art of dance. It is celebrated by millions of dancers around the globe. The international dance council is the official organization for all forms of dance in all countries of the world. Its members are the most prominent federations, associations, schools, companies and individuals in more than 170 countries. CID was founded in 1973 within the UNESCO headquarters in Paris, where it is based. CID is the official partner of UNESCO, the UNITED NATIONS EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ORGANIZATION.
