2nd Dance for yourself festival

This years "Dance for yourself" festival is dedicated to dance fitness programs, which have had such a positive impact of joining even more people in the art of dance. They make dance easy, they make it about feeling instead of difficult steps and postures and they make it about fun, which so many people need. The event will carry the official theme of this year, the art in dance, and will be supported by new media of photography and video. Dance moments will be captured into eternity.

Slovenia Marking World Dance Day
Ljubljana, 29 April (STA) - A street dance festival will mark World Dance Day in Ljubljana, Maribor and Nova Gorica on Friday. As this day is traditionally marked also by messages from dancers from around the world, Slovenia's message underlines that dance is more than just a physical skill, but a connection between the body and soul

First festival of dance "Dancing for myself"
26th of April at 15.00
"On this festival of dance the participants will have a chance to experience dance in all its variations - in the elegance and structure of ballet, in the freedom of african impulse, in the expressive language and in the cuban flavour of salsa. Everyone will be able to feel the joy and positive effects of dance, to embody the experience of dance."

In the other venue a dance and play animation will be held for children throughout the time of workshops.
